Sydney Art Classes hold regular Art classes at ‘The Pottery’, a historic sandstone building in old Gladesville Hospital.

 

Water Colour Painting Techniques:

Cameron Ferguson teaches regular Saturday classes at The Pottery from 10am to 1 pm and by appointment.
The course begins with workshops and demonstrations into the more basic ,fundamental techniques of watercolour, as well as introducing participants to a variety of materials and equipment commonly used in watercolour painting.
As the course progresses,further  classes will enable students to extend their understanding of the medium through the study of still life and landscape painting.
8 Classes x 3 hours each

Drawing Techniques:

Cameron Ferguson teaches drawing classes at The Pottery on Saturdays, or some day and night classes available by appointment.At the beginning of the course,activities will introduce participants to the key techniques and aspects of drawing -such as drawing with proportion,creating depth and space, as well as exploring a variety of drawing mediums, using different rendering and mark- making techniques.
Students will have further opportunity to refine their understanding of drawing and materials through investigating a range of subject matter including still life, portraiture and life drawing with the human form.

8 Classes x 3 hours each
